Casa Cook
Madonna
The Casa Cook brand had built its reputation by the sea. This project asked: what would that same spirit look like in the mountains? Our task was to carry the brand inland—from the beaches of Greece to the alpine town of Madonna di Campiglio—while keeping its relaxed, warm ethos intact.
The brief came with high expectations, close client involvement, and a settled streetscape that expected a respectful response.
From palms to pines
We began with the architecture. A mostly timber façade sits comfortably in its surroundings without resorting to pastiche. The bar was placed at the heart of the ground floor, doubling as reception and anchoring the guest experience from the moment of arrival. Interior spaces were shaped for sociability and rest—cosy where they needed to be, open where they could be.
From early on, the idea was clear: a Casa Cook in the mountains, not just a typical hotel in a ski town.
A mountain hotel with a Mediterranean soul
The result is unmistakably Casa Cook. Contemporary but rooted, relaxed but composed. It’s a mountain hotel that doesn’t try too hard to prove itself—and that’s exactly the point. Getting there wasn’t always easy. There were delays, budget concerns, and moments of resistance.
But the team stuck with it. What matters most is that it feels true—to the brand, to the place, and to the people who’ll use it.
